Hello, this is sort of an extention of our "About Us" section, since I tend to ramble a bit and it was way too long. So I"m going to give you all the details of what made us start this and what we hope to accomplish by doing so. So here we go...
We are a newly wed couple who were always doing what most people who go to restaurants do... Going to the same big chain that wants you in and out fast and charges you half your first born child for your mediocre meal.
Recently, we were brought to this tiny restaurant, attached to a tiny motel, with a tiny sign that if you blinked you would miss it. We were not impressed as we were looking at it from the parking lot.
Well, we ended up being so wrong about this place it was crazy. The food was amazing, employees friendly, and so on (This place will be our first review, so more on it later).
So we started thinking: We love food. Love it. Why not try to find more of these local hidden gems around the Tampa Bay area?
So that's what we're doing. We'll be fair, honest, and give our opinions on local restaurants; good or bad. Remember though, they are just that: our OPINIONS! People's tastes are different and no two pallettes are alike.
That said, we love food, have pretty darn good taste, and one of us has worked in the food industry for eleven years.
So we hope you'll enjoy reading about (and hopefully trying!) the restaurants as much as we will enjoy writing about them. Not to mention as much as we will love doing the research for them!
